Come and explore the ideas, arguments, images and objects associated with teetotalism.
This movement was born in Preston 190 years ago, and made Preston nationally and internationally famous as its birthplace. The displays illustrate why and how this movement became so popular, and takes the story into the twentieth century, including the national centenary celebrations in Preston in 1932.
There are many associated events such as talks, a guided walk, a , and a re-creation of a Band of Hope meeting.
