Nature Mums Trail - Brockholes

  • Dates: Saturday 26 March - Sunday 27 March
  • Times: 6am - 7pm (pack collection between 10am - 1.30pm)
  • Price: £3 online, £3.50 on the day

Explore Brockholes reserve to find out more about their wildlife mums that are busy looking after their families. There will be a Mother's Day treat for those completing the trail, and each trail pack includes full instructions, a Brockholes pencil, and a chocolate treat on completion.

Special Mother's Day Afternoon Tea - Samlesbury Hall

Spoil mum with a special afternoon tea in Samlesbury Hall's historic rooms. Their scrumptious selection includes Samlesbury's homemade sweet treats and delicious savoury delights.

Days out

Preston has an amazing selection of venues that cater perfectly for Mother's Day, these include the old stately home Samlesbury Hall and the grand Hoghton Tower. Or, why not opt for a day out in the great outdoors to welcome Spring and get the whole family out in the fresh air.

Avenham & Miller Parks is one of Preston's most popular attractions and adds interest and luxury to a day outdoors, with its Japanese Gardens and numerous Victorian features. Thanks to the central location of the parks, a visit here can also be accompanied with a drink or meal at one of the city's cafes and restaurants.

The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre is an ideal indoors visit for Mother's Day. This flower-themed entertainment centre not only has a number of eateries to choose from, inside you will also find a cinema, curling, crazy golf, and bowling - all with an added pinch of luxury.
