About The Ferret

The Ferret occupies a unique niche in Preston's grassroots live music scene supporting emerging musicians and artists. Running 200+ gigs a year, The Ferret has hosted everyone from IDLES to Ed Sheeran, from Catfish and the Bottlemen to Bob Vylan.

The Ferret is predominantly a live music pub opposite the University student union but is not strictly a student pub. There are five handpumps featuring a changing array of beers with LocAles often featuring. One changing cask cider is also available. The venue is also has great disabled access, is dog friendly and has a guest wifi.
