From the egg-cellent Egg Rolling event - Preston's popular annual tradition, going back over 150 years - and an exciting egg hunt (of the dragon variety!) to a cracking range of leisure and entertainment offers and some fantastic Easter themed creative activities, you're sure to find plenty of things to do this spring break.

Paint Your Own Ceramic Bunnies - Barton Grange
Date/time: Thursday 10 April (10am - 10:45am)
Cost: £3.50 (per child)
Get creative and paint your own Ceramic bunnies Workshop this Easter. Included in the price will be 3 ceramic bunnies that you get to decorate. Children must be aged over 3 and accompanied by an adult at all times.

Wild Spring Adventure - Brockholes
Date/time: Thursday 17 April (1-3pm)
Cost: £9 (accompanying adults and children over 12 enter free)
Prick up those bunny ears and get ready to welcome in the Spring wildlife at Brockholes Nature Reserve. Learn about baby animals on their trail, who's egg is who's, make your own seed bomb and create your own springtime wreath. Easter Weekend - Ribble Steam Railway

Easter Weekend Four days of all-day travel tickets steam train fun for the whole family.
Easter weekend offers lots to do for the whole family. As well as the museum, café, playground and of course the magnificent trains, they also have an Egg Hunt, perfect for keeping the little ones occupied.

Easter Bunny Breakfast - Dobbies Garden Centre

The Easter Bunny is back for more egg-stra special fun!
Hop along to Dobbies this Easter for a tasty breakfast for the whole family, before taking part in some activities and games.
During the event, children will also be given a mini Malteser chocolate bunny.

The Great Ribby Duck Race - Ribby Hall

Ready, Steady, Quack! Get ready to be a Lucky Duck as Ribby Hall welcome you to The Great Ribby Duck Race! Dizzy the Duck is on the lookout for the finest feathered athletes to join her grand event at The Island. You'll have the chance to collect and decorate your duck before dropping it off ahead of the race. With a performance from Dizzy the Duck and an exciting countdown, watch as the ducks compete and race to the finish line.

Egg Rolling 2025 - Avenham and Miller Parks

Get ready for Preston's annual chocolatey event. Back for 2025, Preston's Egg Rolling is sure to eggcellent day out with the family!
There will be market stalls to browse, artists and performances, plus fun interactive workshops - not to mention the annual Easter Bonnet Competition!
Of course, the egg rolling itself will take place and Plucky the chicken will be walking around ready to wish everyone a Happy Easter.

Dragon Egg Quest - Hoghton Tower
Date/time: Monday 21 April (11am - 3pm, allowing at least 90 minutes to enjoy your adventure )

Spring into action with a fun-filled adventure at Hoghton Tower this Easter Bank Holiday Monday. The Dragon Riders have landed and are looking for new recruits to help them locate the missing dragon eggs which are scattered around Hoghton Tower. Take part in various quests and challenges and tick them off your checklist! Learn about these mystical creatures, meet their enthusiastic characters and become a legendary Dragon Rider!
A perfect event for any young dragon enthusiast and, of course, kids who enjoy story-telling and love to be creative!

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged with warm comfortable layers underneath and flat footwear e.g. trainers or boots.
