Located in Leyland, on a site formerly part of the Leyland Motor factory, the British Commercial Vehicle Museum displays antiquarian buses, early fire engines and other historical and commercial vehicles produced by the British manufacturing industry.
With hands on displays giving kids (and big kids too!) the chance to climb into a real truck drivers seats and a nostalgic trip into the past for parents and grandparents, the museum really is a great day out that all the family can enjoy.
Special events also take place throughout the year from craft and collectors fairs and model maker exhibitions, through to transport shows and the Great British Lorry Day.
