Makers Market set to take place Twice a Month in Preston.

The hugely successful Makers Market is now staged twice each month in Preston city centre!

Continuing to take place on the second Saturday of each month on the Flag Market, the Makers Market will now also take place on the newly-revitalised Friargate Brow, on the final Saturday of each month as well.

The event, which takes place across Lancashire, Manchester and Cheshire, has continued to grow in popularity in Preston, leading to a organisers committing to a second date, each month, in the city centre.

The Friargate area has been revitalised as part of the £14.7m Transforming Friargate North and Ringway scheme. The scheme is being delivered by Lancashire County Council, in partnership with Preston City Council and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), as part of its successful Transforming Cities Fund bid.
