Preston Concert Band's War Time Music

A wonderful afternoon of remembrance and music

Join Preston Concert Band and their wonderful talent as they play music from the war years. A special singer will also be there to guide you through the Vera Lynn numbers.

There will be opportunities to dance to the music, as you remember the old times and the victories from the past.

Refreshments will be available too.

Supporting the event are the Ashton 1945 group, who are currently collecting and recording people's memories and experiences of World War II in Preston.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, they are planning to hold an exhibition displaying all of the artefacts people have loaned them as part of this project.

Booking and pricing

Entry for this wonderful evening cost £10 per person.

There's no online booking, entry is pad on the door on the day.
